Rushing Design is a Landscape Architecture Design / Build Firm, established in 1990. The Firm provides master site planning, project management and specializes in swimming pool design and construction. Rick A. Rushing, is the principal landscape architect as well as owner of the Firm. Rick loves to accompany pool projects with outdoor kitchens, dining space, fireplaces, fire features, porches and pool houses. Rick’s hope is that all clients will live a healthier and more relaxed life without leaving the comfort of their home. Rick has worked with an outstanding team of sub-contractors for 10 years or more on almost every pool project, this is a real benefit when the design / build process is used with Rushing Design.
Rick Rushing is a 1982 graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Professional Degree in Landscape Architecture. In his career, Rick has enjoyed a wide range of work as a Professional Landscape Architect, currently specializing in the design and construction of swimming pools with all surrounding amenities residential and commericial.
Rick is a member of the state KYASLA, and the national ASLA. He is a registered Landscape architect in Ky#415. Rick also has enjoyed time served on the Tree Board for the Lexington Fayette Urban County Government for 12 years, and is the co-producer of a community music series for the past 26 years.
